Graphics doesn't matter to me gameplay does. When i see that the villagers have the same weapons and death animations is the EXACT SAME as the last game that came out some 4 years ago that's a little jarring to me. There is a nice little selection of action games on the ps3. Uncharted, Ass Creed, DMC, Ninja Gaiden and GTA4 to name a few. Though you are right about the lack of RPG's.
As many casual and kid friendly titles the Ps2 had you got to remember the Ps2 still had games like GoW, Soccom, MGS, DMC etc. This article is just stating the obvious in fact it's stating what's already been happening. Look in your local GameStop and you'll like see movie based titles and some kid friendly games for all 3 systems right now. I was almost done with Uncharted on crushing and i almost found everything. I won't mind playing it another 2 times to get a platinum trophy for Uncharted (my favorite game of this gen) but i really wish the trophies were retroactive. But oh well no use complaining there's people in hell that want ice water.

Finally some one had the balls to do this. I always said that Res5 looked like Res4 with a new coat of paint (gameplay wise) and i always got quite a bit of disagree's. But this footage shows you exactly what i was talking about. Faster enemies and co-op in my opinion doesn't help Res5 separate itself enough from Res4.
That makes sense. How you phrased it, it sounded like you brought the game twice just to see which version is better. I have it on Ps3 and the game is good (i hate the blur filter though), i'd say the cars look the best. The storyline was pretty solid up until the fudged it up my opinion by having more missions after you meet Darko. I think if the game ended with Darko it would have truly been something special and broke away from the same ole gta formula. But it let me down.

It was the game i was expecting most this year after Mirrors Edge and LittleBigPlanet. I just really, really, REALLY hope that it's not canceled. Heck i still have a tiny sliver of hope that it might actually come out this year. Santa make it happen!
Why would you spend $120 on buying the same game twice? I mean seriously it IS the same game isn't it? I would have brought a different game along with it or something but that's just me. Specially if the 360 version is so much better than the Ps3 version to you.
I can't wait to try out the tower thing using my boy Maxi and Xianghua or Voldo. Sounds like it's really good and i'm going to have fun with the customization since i skipped the 3rd SC (was still playing 2). Hope my Ps3 comes back from getting repaired soon so i can pick this up and wail on mofo's online.
You're partially right. I'am buying the new one for the online play but also because i skipped out on SC3 (the only one i missed) so i missed out on a few new characters. Plus i'm kind of interested in the character customization for SC4. I don't care about the Star Wars characters and they are kind of just "there" to me. Plus i haven't brought a new fighting game since Street Fighter Anniversary and i'm itching to play a new fighter.
That's exactly how i felt. The series got stale after MK4 to me and Deadly Alliance and every other game after it was boring and a bit goofy in my opinion. I'm glad they went this direction because now they can prove that MK isn't just all about the gore and can actually have a solid fighting engine. I'm excited about the new gameplay (even though it doesn't have fatalities per se). Besides i think they might make Jokers fatality making a pencil disappear.
Sony has LittleBigPlanet. They should buy Brutal Legend for f**k's sake anyone should buy Brutal Legend. It's one of the games i was looking forward to THE MOST this year.

But i need more anime on Blu-Ray. I have yet to purchase a Blu-Ray movie because i've been waiting for some good anime to come out on Blu-Ray but yet to no avail. Hopefully the new Evangelion movie remakes will be on Blu-Ray.. I'll probably pick up Transformers and Dark Knight when they come to Blu-Ray.
It's different! In the gaming age where every other game you play as some sort of guy in the military who is the ultimate badass it's nice to have a change of pace. Not just that the minimalist combat actually draws me into this game. I love platforming/free running in games and this one looks to pull it off pretty good. I do like to mix up my game library with different types of games such as this and Portal and hopefully Brutal Legend at the end of this year.
Making pencil's disappear would be cool along with giving someone a smile.
Keep up the hard work. I especailly liked the ending calling out people about their false persona's. You kept it real and said you were pushing mail and not drugs and that's how you got to where you're at now. Good show.
